Carlos enjoys mainly working on bronze and adds mixed media to enhance the message of each piece.

Carlos's work primarily explores the cultural connections between Puerto Rico and the United States, strongly emphasizing Puerto Rican cultural identity. He is also interested in examining our evolving relationship with the natural world as it is viewed through a digital lens, highlighting how our appreciation for nature appears to wane in the face of advancing technology.
