Bound By Culture
United by the culture that connects us, we embrace our shared history, recognizing its power to unite us. Acknowledging the lessons of the past allows us to move forward with gratitude for the rich tapestry of knowledge and culture that binds us together. The Dujo, a ceremonial chair adorned by the warlord of the Taino people, symbolizes power and strength, now bound with the steel imposed by conquerors who sought to claim what was not theirs. Despite being forced into industrial processes to create ships and ammunition for our suppressors, the Taino continue to thrive, spreading their vibrant culture to new generations, embodying resilience in the face of a troubled past.
